Texas Greek Greek Festival at Austin - (Next Festival in 2009)
The 1st
Texas Greek Festival at Austin took place on April 29, 2001, at
the Fiesta Gardens. More than 1,000 people attended the event that featured
delicious Greek food, live music, dance performances, cultural exhibits, kids' events,
an arts &
crafts bazaar, lots of broken plates, and much, much more! More than anything, it brought world-renowned
Greek "kefi" to the Austin community! Ever since, the Texas Greek
Festival has been established as an annual event that has been constantly
growing and attracting more people every year.

...were so good! |

The older ones... |

...really got us going! |

And so, there were broken plates everywhere! |
