Who are the Belly Dancers?

The Belly Dancers are a team of highly skilled, extremely bright and exceptionally good-looking Greek indoor soccer players. The fact that most of them sport a significant belly (hence the name) should by no means detract from the aforementioned qualities.

How were the Belly Dancers conceived?

The Belly Dancers were conceived during a cigar-smoking, whiskey-drinking, post-barbeque socializing session at the Thanasis Iatrou mansion. Although the idea was initially ridiculed, it generated enough interest that a star team was born! The rest is history, as they say...

What does the future hold for the Belly Dancers?

The Belly Dancers are here to stay! This season's success and the high level of participation and enthusiasm among friends and family bear testament to the excitement that the Belly Dancers are generating among the Greek community.

However, given that the Belly Dancers will have worked off their bellies by the end of the season, it is safe to assume that next season will find the Belly Dancers listed under another name. And so, dear friends, fret not -- WE WILL BE BACK next season!
